This review is from: Westclox 1964 Big Ben Classic Black Alarm Clock Wont run much more than 24 hours on single wind, need plyers to turn hands spinner. This cheap plastic clone is not as loud as original metal Big Ben, nor are luminus hands as visible in dark. There are no luminus dots by numbers either. Unsatisfied with product. 4 of 4 people found the following review helpful: By CCTX "CCTX" (DFW, TX USA) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Westclox 1964 Big Ben Classic Black Alarm Clock If you have a crotchety old man in your life that's still livin' la vida loca like it was 1945 then this clock will be the perfect accessory for him. Bought this for my father in law who's full of piss and vinegar towards anything electronic and he's as happy as a clam. My in-law's main complaint about electronic annoyances is that he can't hear the alarm. Well now with this baby he still doesn't hear the alarm (when he remembers to wind it) but at least it runs down after a few seconds and doesn't continue to inconvenience everyone else in the house. It's what I call a win-win situation.
This is why I would highly recommend this item. 4 of 4 people found the following review helpful: Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Westclox 1964 Big Ben Classic Black Alarm Clock This clock is a piece of junk.....not like the Big Ben's of years ago. Dials are hard to turn and the clock has been losing time since day one. Plan to toss it in the trash after my new Seiko alarm clock arrives. Don't waste your money. |
