This review is from: Westclox 1950 Big Ben Moonbeam Pink Alarm Clock (Electronics) After buying the green Moonbeam clock for myself, I purchased a pink one for a relative. The color of this clock is a much richer, deeper pink than the displayed picture suggests (in the picture, it appears almost salmon in color and looks a bit washed out, which is NOT how it really looks). Potential buyers also should know that, as with the other Moonbeam clocks, the pink one also has a thin (and aesthetically pleasing) silver band along the base of the clock that I personally couldn't see in any of the online picture. Also, please note that those who don't wake up to the gently flashing light (which is effective in itself) are treated to a cheerful ringing alarm instead of a cranky buzzing. As with the green Moonbeam that I purchased, this pink one also works perfectly and delighted its recipient, who has mentioned more than once what a pleasure it is to wake up to a softly lit analog "face" instead of harsh red digital numbers. This review is from: Westclox 1950 Big Ben Moonbeam Pink Alarm Clock (Electronics) My entire family uses Westclox moonbeam clocks, we have them in almost every room of our small home. It is great not to wake up the entire house with an alarm sound when just one of us has to be up early. This gentle light-alarm even wakes my teenager and there are other colors available. They are not rugged [made in China] but our clocks have worked just fine with no problems. I am back buying two more for gift giving. The price is good and they are getting harder to find. I think they are adorable and they add a warm glow [literally] to the room. 8 of 8 people found the following review helpful: By Aoife50 "irishgirl" (Dallas, Texas) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Westclox 1950 Big Ben Moonbeam Pink Alarm Clock (Electronics) Many years ago my husband had a similiar clock that he took to college and it was still in good working order when we married and i loved that clock. Waking up to a blinking light minutes before the dreadful audio alarm and then sadly it died. I was sooo pleased to find this clock and once again happily wake to the flashing light and most mornings am up and out of bed before the alarm sounds and wakes the entire house. The amber glow of the clockface is a lovely nightlight and very visible for these aging eyes. Wish there were more colors offered but i'm just happy to have found my old friend. |
