Vibrating Alarm Clock

I received my vibrating alarm clock last week. I have been using it ever since and had no problems. It works the way it claims to and is easy to use. Once you set the alarm, if you leave the cover open the alarm beeps, and if you keep it closed it vibrates. It is a little noisier than I expected when set to vibrate, but my husband has not been awakened by the sound thus far which was my goal in ordering this product. The only complaint I have about it is that when you press the buttons to snooze or program it, they make rather loud beeping sounds.

Update: This item completely died on 7/5/09, not quite a year of use. I tried changing batteries, reset, etc. to no avail. I liked it while it worked and didn't really expect it to last more than a year.

Bought it not to wake up my wife in the morning.

"+" Vibrates and generally meets the purpose.

"-" - Vibration is strong (my wife does wakes up).

- Beeps very loudly when you press any button (i.e. if in the middle of the night you want to open the cover to check the time you might not be able to do so w/out waking up you sleeping partner.

"Wish list"

- The beeper could be turned off.

- the level of vibration could be regulated.

- the snooze button was outside (not under the cover), so if you are to snooze the alarm you would not have (while still asleep) rushly attemp to open the cover and press any buttons to snooze it.

Two month since I bought the A/C we are still using it and my wife is slowly getting used to 'filtrate' the vibration as it is not a call for her.

I let my daughter open this clock early, instead of at Christmas. Thank goodness I still have the box. She purchased batteries, followed the instructions, and it does not work. It doesn't even turn on. It is also very small, lightweight and looks like it would come from a dollar store. With shipping costs, I think I ended up paying $15. I will have to send this back since it doesn't work, and I don't even want another one--I just want my money back.
