I have been trying to find a reliable device that keeps excellent time, is easy to maintain, simple to use, portable and not loaded with a bunch of useless features. I wanted such a device to set all of our watches and clocks by. This is THE device. I have tested it against a Casio PAW500 atomic watch and they were both exactly the same. This atomic alarm clock runs on a battery that is easily replaceable. Excellent item, great quality. A rare find in todays world where everything is made in China of inferior materials and no quality control.

I had high hopes for this seemingly versatile atomic clock. Unfortunately, the clock I was sent did not work. Note that it is small and light. The easel legs are flimsy plastic, one of them was broken on my clock.(The legs swing out of a small recess in the back.) The leather case was cheap and sticky and afixed to the back of my clock, apparently to hide the broken leg. In any event, the battery is one of those round ones. The clock did not automatically set itself nor was I able to set it manually. Needless to say I returned this item and the only up side was my prompt refund.

I bought this clock solely because it had a dual alarm feature. This is my fourth atomic clock, so I know how they work, how to set them, ease of use (or not), etc.

First, the "leather" pouch was a flimsy piece of vinyl stuff with a foam backing that completely adhered to the clock and came apart in the process of removing it. Peeling it off also removed parts of the clock labeling on the backside.

The clock squeezed the visible numbers into a very tiny area, giving up most of the front face to a silly mirror that I would never use. The numbers were difficult to immediately read as a result of being crammed together.

The clock is not ergonomically designed. The setting buttons aren't clearly labeled and they are on three sides: front, back and side edge, meaning I can't see them as I'm trying to find them to push them. This necessitates turning the clock over to set it. Because the buttons aren't in front and clearly labeled, it's more of a memory...Read more
