Perfect for a portable MP3 player or cassette player, the T609T's auxiliary input can be used in conjunction with the unit's programmable sleep mode (15 to 90 minutes), along with the radio and nature sounds. If you play a CD at bedtime, the unit will stop when the CD is finished. CD playback modes include repeat play, random play, and 20-track program play. A headphone jack affords private or late-night listening without disturbing others.
And, just to make sure you never miss an important appointment (if only some quality time with your shower or morning coffee), the clock also comes with Timex's Sure Alarm battery backup. Just install 2 AA batteries (not included) to activate this feature. In the event of a power failure--or if you disconnect the AC power cord to move the clock--Sure Alarm will maintain your clock and alarm settings for the life of the batteries, ensuring that the alarms will sound at the appointed time (while operating on battery power, the alarms will sound only as buzzer).
What's in the Box
Clock, FM wire antenna, a stereo analog audio interconnect (minijack to minijack), and a user's manual with warranty information.

- Stylish design - Very good sound from speakers - Nature sounds are peaceful and very natural sounding CON: - Large on nightstand - bigger than the pictures imply (especially vertical dimension). - Can not completely turn off the illuminated time display (you can dim somewhat but not off) 8 of 9 people found the following review helpful: By p-Dub (Eagle, CO USA) - See all my reviews This review is from: Timex CD Clock Radio (Electronics) This clock radio has a wheel to locate stations and the reception is horrible. Mine is going back directly to whence it came. It seems radios these days have worse and worse reception. Can you get a good radio anymore? 5 of 5 people found the following review helpful: This review is from: Timex CD Clock Radio (Electronics) I just bought this clock yesturday. The display is very bright in a dark room at night. I ended up putting a t-shirt over the display as it was lighting up the room too much, so then I couldn't see what the time was!. Also you can only see the time if you are looking level at it. I have the clock higher than the bed and cannot read the time from the lower level as the display fades out. However the speakers sound good and the nature sounds are very nice. |
