Simplify your life while safeguarding your wake-up times with the Timex T313B auto-set dual-alarm clock radio. Its unique, 1-touch alarm settings accommodate 7-, 5-, or 2-days-a-week scheduling, while its dual alarms provide individual wake times and alarm sounds so you and a partner can wake to either radio or a buzzer (if one alarm is set for radio, the other must be buzzer, and vice-versa). Just plug it in and the clock will set itself, drawing on its factory-installed 100-year calendar (year/month/day, 2000 to 2099). The clock will even self-adjust for Daylight Savings time. Like to snooze? Then you'll like the clock's large, easy-to-find snooze bar.

The clock provides convenient 1-touch radio tuning, with 18 auto-setting presets: 12 for FM and 6 for AM stations. The tuner always remembers the last station selected before the radio was switched off. Fall asleep to your favorite station with the unit's programmable sleep timer (up to 90 minutes). A 4-line, backlit LCD includes a 3-position brightness control.

The clock also comes with Sure Alarm battery backup--just install 2 AAA batteries (not included) to activate the feature. In the event of a power failure, or if you disconnect the AC power cord to move the clock, the Sure Alarm system will maintain your clock and alarm settings for the life of the batteries, ensuring that the alarms will sound at the set time (while operating on battery power, the alarms will sound only as buzzer).

I bought this clock as a birthday gift for my husband. He really wanted a dual-alarm clock that had separate settings for weekdays and weekends. He also wanted one he could read at night without putting on his glasses. This clock does both and does them beautifully! It's a very intuitive design - I didn't even need to read the directions in order to set it up. I literally plugged it into the wall and the clock set itself to the correct time. The clockface is easy to read at night. The radio works well and the whole unit takes up only about 4 square inches of space on the nightstand. It's a great unit and we are both very pleased!

I didn't buy this for the alarm, though I do use it in a pinch. I bought this to replace an AM/FM radio, and I was amazed at the sound that this puts out. It sounds like stereo, and it's preset "equalizer" is just the right mix of bass and treble. FM sounds great!

And the auto time set is great. When that feature first came out, you were look at $75 minimum just for a clock. Now we use this one as the standard by which to set all the other clocks in the house.

And, again, it's only $30.
