This clock looks great and keeps good time, but the mechanism seems flimsy. Evidently, the battery location was changed to the front of the clock after the directions were written. It took me a while to figure out where it belonged. The chimes are hard to adjust. I wanted them to play softly. Sometimes they play; most of the time they don't. Overall, the clock is okay, but over priced.
