I was looking for a wall clock for my bedroom pretty long time. I wanted it to be rather modern, going well with any color of the walls. And suddenly it showed up. I could not resist its looks, with a clear convex surface, silver flat dial face and quiet movement. When I took it out of the box (by the way: very good packaging, all corners protected, a screw for hanging included and a battery as well) I was amazed. After looking and looking at it for quite some time I put it on a chair, just for a second. All of a sudden my dog (mini schnauzer) jumped on the chair (read: on the clock). I could hear his claws scratching the glass. Actually this is not a glass, rather plastic or acrylic surface. I thought: "This is the end of my excitement". But there were no scratches. Can you imagine? To keep it short: the clock hangs on my lavender wall (I can see the color of it through the clock) and works without any sound. I love it. After all this I took my dog to the groomer.

I've been looking for a quiet clock and it seems I've finally found one. This clock has a continuous sweep second hand, and, so far, is silent. It's also nice-looking and easy to read. It's plastic, but looks like metal. Also, you can see the color of your wall through the clear border so it automatically matches your decor. It's about 12 inches across. I have no complaints. I hope it lasts.

This is our second silent sweep second-hand Seiko wall clock we have purchased. They ARE silent, (late night ticking makes me nuts!)
attractive and affordable. I would highly recommend this product. I appreciated the added dimensions information, since I was restricted on space where I was going to put it,because it couldn't be TOO big. It's perfect!
