This has been my daily-use clock at home and while traveling ever since and it still works great! I'm a little surprised to see that the exact same model is for sale, but glad it is because when/if mine breaks I will need an exact replacement or my brain won't know what to do in the morning. 35 of 36 people found the following review helpful: By Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Seiko Travel Alarm Get Up and Glow Clock Silver-Tone Metallic Case (Watch) I bought the Seiko Travel Alarm for an upcoming trip, and because it never hurts to have a battery operated clock in the house as a back-up. It was exactly as represented and best of all - very easy to set. I especially liked the top bar to light it up - no fumbling here and it folds up to nothing and is very light. Also this clock came weeks ahead of the scheduled delivery - Thanks Amazon! 24 of 24 people found the following review helpful: This review is from: Seiko Travel Alarm Get Up and Glow Clock Silver-Tone Metallic Case (Watch) I purchased this item based on many good reviews. It is compact, runs on AAA batteries instead of pricey button batteries, stands well and has a build in travel cover. Also, although it is nice to have the light button on the top so it is easy to find in the dark, you cannot simply push down on the button; you must squeeze it. To do that, you must grasp the clock from the front and back and squeeze the button - a feat that requires more alertness than one generally has in the middle of a night's sleep. So, the only way to read the time from this travel alarm clock at night is to: 1. grasp it front and back, 2. squeeze the button at the top, and 3. tilt the clock toward you so that you are looking at it from a down angle...Read more |
