Thin, accurate and also, completely silent. I find ticking clocks very disturbing and this one makes no noise at all. I have have several: this and the other model that is nearly identical except that it is gold. I keep one bedside, and travel with one. It is a great daily alarm with an easy-to-use snooze function, and a superb travel clock as it is totally thin, light and DEPENDABLE (unlike hotel wake-up calls, even in 5 star hotels as we recently found in Barcelona...were it not for this travel clock, we would have missed our flight.) The battery lasts at least 7 years, is easy to replace, and inexpensive (approx. $3.00 US at Target) Just be sure to get the correct thickness of battery...I accidentally got what I thought was the right one, but lithium batteries come in varied thicknesses and as I had gotten the wrong thickness, it did not power up my clock so I thought the clock had conked out...on closer inspection I found my error...Read more 27 of 28 people found the following review helpful: By Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) I teach at a college, and no clocks at any college are ever correct (am I right?). So I lay this little clock out flat next to my notes. It is very thin when closed up, and the analog face is very easy to read. Keeps excellent time. I'm thinking of getting a second one for my office desk (since our network servers reset our Windows clock to the wrong time every 15 minutes or so). The only drawback is that I'm the only one who shows up to class and shows up to meetings on time.
Get it if you need a travel alarm! It weighs next to nothing and (as John Cleese would say), it's "wafer-thin". 11 of 11 people found the following review helpful: By Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) I recently went on a spree and bought four travel alarm clocks... looking to find one that is compact and light weight but has an adequately loud alarm.
This is the one I'm now taking in my carry-on when I travel. It's slim and nice-looking, and fits my other criteria. |
