The dial also includes slim black minute indexes and complementary clock hands. The timepiece's dual-chime feature offers a selection of Westminster and Whittington quarter-hour chimes, along with an hour count. Anyone, myself included will appreciate this quartz reproduction of what must have been a very fine mantel clock. The correct size and color for this type clock, the fidelity of the chimes is remarkable. No one will miss the sonic beauty of this two note Westminster chime when it marks the hour, half hour and quarter hour. The price suddenly dropped one day and I acted as Ive been looking at this as a possibility for a long time, very pleased to have done so. As battery operated clocks go this one is sure to please.
