This is a sleek, modern, well-made clock, EXCEPT for one thing. You must slide the battery cover off to set the time the alarm sounds (or to just set the time the clock shows, too). The battery cover is easy to slide off, but who wants to do that every time you need to change the alarm time (or the clock time, for that matter)? Also, due to the buttons being in the battery compartment, at the back of the clock, it is a bit difficult to see which button you are pushing and see the front of the clock at the same time. No big deal if you get up at the same time every day, but an inconvenience if you are frequently changing the time you want the alarm to ring. I would have given it five stars if it hadn't had this wierd design feature.

One must be handicapped if having a problem setting this clock. It's SO EASY and the fact that the back needs to be removed to set the alarm is a good thing because buttons are covered so that a hand fumbling around in the morning won't change the setting. The back is easy to remove (just press down and slide). This is easily the BEST clock I have ever owned. Easy to see (it only dims when the battery is low), compact, easy to turn the alarm off (just hit the large button on the top). And the alarm chirp is easy to wake up to. But what I love most about it is that there is no bright digital light shining in the room from the display like most digital clocks that light up the entire room. If I need to see what time it is at night, I just press the top button of the clock and it lights up the display. I purchased 5 of these because they are so wonderful.

I need a clock in my bathroom. This one fits the bell and is vey chic looking. My only complaint is that it is not very visible. The numbers blends into the dark grey background. The background should've been white or lighter color. (There's nightlight that you can press but it doesn't stay too long.) The clock, the alarm, and the date are all very easy to set up. It is small enough so that it doesn't take up too much counter space. I'm glad I bought it -- just wished that it was more visible.
