The display is too bright and there is not option to completely turn it off. There are (3) settings for the display; auto, high, and low. The low setting is like having a night light on at all times.

This is very nice clock, sleek design with alarm, radio, temperature display, and mainly the projection time that I was looking for. The projection is red and kind of small - but I notice that all projection clocks have small projection display. I guess they all use the same electronic parts. Otherwise, the display is very nice (blue) and it can be dimmed for evening hours. The only thing I had little problem with was to get use to the settings, but eventually I was able to set it up.
Overall, very nice clock, definitely worth the money.

Clock has a well lit face with large numbers and is easy to set and change alarm modes and times. Alarms starts off with a slow beep, then gets faster and louder.
The projector function works but if you have high ceilings it may not show up clearly on those, but will show up on a wall very well.
