Summary: Not worth the money 2008-08-28
Comment: I originally bought this radio because I liked its sleek look and I loved the thought of also knowing the weather when I wake up in the morning. But that leads me to the first of many problems. The weather according to the radio is never anything except partly sunny. There is this cool light on the side that will change color to match the weather. Blue is the color for partly sunny. Today it was a severe thunderstorm, but my "weather station" clock said it was still partly sunny. I have never seen it change color for anything other than partly sunny, even at night! On top of that the light is extremely bright and distracting at night. The persistent blue color is starting to get on my nerves and I can't turn it off. The temperature gauge is always wrong also. Today the high was around 80, the clock said it was 104. That is a huge difference.
Now on to the radio functions. Finding radio stations is extremely easy with the digital display. Once you find the station however the reception is horrible. I have noticed that I get horrible reception unless I keep my hand on top of the clock. What is up with that? Am I suppose to keep my hand on top of the clock while I am sleeping so I can wake up to a radio station? At least there is also a buzzer you can wake up to.
Overall, this Weather Station Clock is just not worth the price. There have got to be better models out there.
