AM/FM reception lacks, but the alarm clock itself is worth it,

This Philips Clock Radio won me over with its easy to use setup.
The big red display is fairly bright and will make it easy to see far, however, not the best choice for someone hooking it up near a nightstand or the bed. There are two alarm choices. The first is the radio, which allows you to switch to your least favorite station and set it on full blast (you don't have to do that...but a good option) or you can just have loud static. Another alarm option is this annoying bell thing. I'd recommend either or. The radio is a decent feature. The sound isn't the best quality, but let's be real here, your not REALLY getting this for the radio, are you? Another radio problem is reception, which means the radio feature will be useless in far away places or in crowded urban areas (or apartments for that matter).
