Owl - Talking Alarm Clock by Streamline

I was so excited when I found this clock on Amazon. I ordered it for my daughter. The clock itself is built solid, but it really doesn't deliver. The hoot alarm is too quiet, and despite the appearance of bells on the top, you can not use them, the only sound the alarm makes is a very quiet hoot. Secondly, this clock doesn't keep time very well. I've only had it a month and it is now hours behind, despite battery changes. I really wouldn't recommend it for anything other than an overpriced paper weight. It is possible that I received a defective clock, but I don't think so, it's more likely that this clock just really is a poor product.

My four year old daughter is into owls this year so I was so excited to get this alarm clock for her. I tested out the hoot and was shocked at how loud and scary it sounds. I was expecting a sweet, cartoon sounding hoot. Instead, it is a real hoot and it sounds like it's right in your ear. I doubt we will be using this for its actual alarm.

I was so excited to find this clock and loved it when it arrived. The "hoot" was kind of loud but that's what you want in an alarm clock. Appeared to be built strong also. But..after several battery changes, it still would not keep time. It would lose 5 mins every 10 mins!! Really hated to return it but it really did turn into a paper weight. It may have also been returned before since the packaging looked like it had been opened and repackaged. Great idea for a clock. Just wished it had worked.
