The display is cast in soft, glowing red numbers, which are easy to read but dim enough to keep from distracting restless sleepers. The projection can also rotate 180 degrees, giving users a variety of angles from which to choose, with a focusing lens that delivers a sharp picture regardless of the surface. The RRM968PA is much more than just a projection clock, however. Its compact housing also offers a traditional backlit LCD display; an AM/FM digital tuner with a 120-minute sleep timer and 16 total presets (eight FM and eight AM); a month/day calendar that reads in English, French, Spanish, German, or Italian; a user-selectable alarm with both radio and beep tones; and a U.S. map display with designated time zones.
