Amazon.com Product Description
Featuring a projection system that displays the time on the ceiling, walls, or anywhere else in the room, the Oregon Scientific RRM968PA clock radio is ideal for people with poor eyesight or who don't want to crane their heads to check the time. The display is cast in soft, glowing red numbers, which are easy to read but dim enough to keep from distracting restless sleepers. The projection can also rotate 180 degrees, giving users a variety of angles from which to choose, with a focusing lens that delivers a sharp picture regardless of the surface. The RRM968PA is much more than just a projection clock, however. Its compact housing also offers a traditional backlit LCD display; an AM/FM digital tuner with a 120-minute sleep timer and 16 total presets (eight FM and eight AM); a month/day calendar that reads in English, French, Spanish, German, or Italian; a user-selectable alarm with both radio and beep tones; and a U.S. map display with designated time zones. Thanks to the built-in digital thermometer, users can even check the internal temperature at all times. And folks with a tight schedule can rest assured that the clock will always be accurate, as RRM968PA sets itself to the U.S. Atomic Clock in Boulder, Colorado--the official timekeeper of the U.S. government.

The radio runs on four AA batteries and comes with an extendable antenna for digital radio reception and a headphone jack for private listening.

What's in the Box
Clock radio, AC adapter, user's manual.

1.0 out of 5 stars DON'T BUY IT. BAD RETURN POLICY. CHEESY., February 21, 2005
This review is from: Oregon Scientific RRM968PA ExactSet Atomic Projection Alarm Clock Radio (Electronics)
I bought one of these for my mother for a holiday gift. She had trouble seeing if the Alarm indicator was on. The prjection part would have a loose connection and turn off and then on. Plus it was $71.07 when I bought it. It was not shipped from Amazon as the page showed. It came out of some cheesy place called DynaDirect.com. 7 day return policy on a holiday item. Come on! Even my credit card company had trouble returning the item.
I ended up eating the cost.

1.0 out of 5 stars Don't Buy It!, July 26, 2006
This review is from: Oregon Scientific RRM968PA ExactSet Atomic Projection Alarm Clock Radio (Electronics)
After having this expensive little unit for only 1.5 years it lost its ability to receive AM radio signals. Customer Service only had one suggestion: Try the reset function listed in the manual. This did not fix the problem. The killer is that there is no service available!! Cannot be returned to Oregon Scientific and they do not provide names of anyone who could fix it. Suggested I purchase a new unit. Not in this lifetime!! Unit was not very user friendly and the customer service is the same.

3.0 out of 5 stars Nice radio - dumb design, December 28, 2005
This review is from: Oregon Scientific RRM968PA ExactSet Atomic Projection Alarm Clock Radio (Electronics)
It's a very nice radio but has some shortcomings. Try hitting the snooze that is next to two other buttons, all recessed on the top. Hard to find.

The Atomic clock is nice, if you don't live in AZ. It won't adjust for a state that doesn't change between daylight savings. So the time is wrong and has to be manually adjusted.
