Slim and classy, this travel clock with its own leather case makes a perfect gift. Time is displayed in both analog and digital format, and a projection light with focus knob beams a digital time image onto the ceiling. Radio signals from the U.S. atomic clock keep the clock automatically synchronized; this feature can be disabled if desired. Pressing the snooze button activates for five seconds both the blue HiGlo backlight (a slight hum will be heard) and the projection feature. An included 7.5-volt power adapter enables continuous projection. Two hour-offset functions allow a choice of time zone and let travelers see current time locally as well as at home. Select one of five languages to display the day of the week, and choose either a 12- or 24-hour format for the time. The crescendo alarm starts beeping gently, then builds in intensity and will go off automatically after two minutes unless the 8-minute snooze button or alarm button is pressed. Measuring 4 by 2-3/8 by 3/4 inches, with buttons and projection knob on top, the clock runs on two AAA batteries (included), and is covered by a three-month warranty against defects. --Ann Bieri

Summary: LED's stopped working 2009-01-03
Comment: Worked fine for about a year and then the LED's started to go out. I called Oregon Scientific and they were no help as the warranty had expired.

Summary: WONDERFUL PURCHASE 2008-04-17
Comment: JUST FINISHED A TRIP WITH THE TRAVEL CLOCK. WE WERE USED TO HAVING A PROJECTION CLOCK AT HOME AND THE TRAVEL CLOCK WORKED VERY WELL. MADE US FEEL LIKE WE WERE HOME AWAY FROM HOME. THE PROJECTION WAS VERY CLEAR AND WORKED WELL. LOVE THE COMPACT SIZE.

Summary: Great smaller, travel verion of projection clock 2006-11-06
Comment: We have several bedside versions of this clock, and thought it would be great to have one to travel with. It has a nice leather case and operates off of batteries or an AC adapter. It is also a great gift for dads, graduates...anyone! We highly recommend it!

Summary: Disappointing 2004-12-19
Comment: Ceiling projection never worked very well, and synchronization with atomic clock was haphazard at best. After using this about one year, the projection numbers seem to be partially burned out. The only good thing is the design of the actual clock, which is attractive.

Summary: Better than nothing 2004-10-04
Comment: This projection clock is better than nothing. However, the projector is backwards in my opinion. If put on your headboard with the clock face facing outward, the projection on the ceiling will be backwards. That means, to have the projection facing right, the clock face must face the wall behind you. Also, if you want to display the time on the wall, you must lay the clock down on its side, the side that contains the AC adaptor plugin, which means if it's plugged in, the protrusion will prevent it from laying flat -- correctible if you have a hole in the tabletop (such as a cable guide, as I have). Overall, I'm disappointed at the misorientation of the projector and lack of positioning options. Having the projector orientated correctly with the clock face and having the projector on a swivel would correct all problems, but I haven't found such a product.
