Moshi Speak n Set Touch Activated Travel Alarm Clock, White

The clock itself is a pretty cool travel clock. It's small and has a sleek design. It runs on batteries and is made for travelling. What I don't like about it is the fact you have to press a button for the backlighting to turn on (for 5 sec.). Plus you have to press another button to ask it what time it is. When i'm sleeping I don't want to have to reach over to see what time is. Also the alarm is not very loud.

I travel extensively for work all over the world. I've had many travel alarm clocks over the years, but this is my favorite for nine reasons.
1) It's a great size and seems to be well built (doesn't look or feel cheap)
2) It's extremely easy to set the time when I'm in a different time zone. Simply press a button, say "set time", and say the current time (e.g., "four thirty pm"). A pleasant female voice confirms what time has been set.
3) Setting the alarm is equally easy and can be done in the dark. I hate it when I remember that I've forgotten to set my alarm after I'm in bed in a dark hotel room. I don't want to have to turn on a light, fiddle with hour and minute buttons to set the clock. With this clock, all you need to do is press the command button, which is easy to find in the dark, and say "set alarm." A female voice responds "what time please" and you say your desired wake up time (e.g., "six twenty am")

Got this for my boyfriend for Christmas and he loves it. Took seconds to set up the time and alarm. Much faster than any regular alarm clock. The voice recognition is impressive, only once was it confused about what time was being entered, but after speaking the time in the correct format, it set perfectly. I've never seen an alarm clock as easy to set as this one, I'm going to get another for myself.
