I got this as a present for Christmas and it has been an amazing product. It's easy to use and a lot more convenient than the average alarm clock. Everything is operated simply by voice, so there are only about 5 buttons on the front top of the clock, the rest is voice activated. It's very customizable, you can choose from 3 different alarm tone, background tones to help you sleep, brightness of the night light/backlight by clicking the + or - buttons on the front. But simply being able to never touch it or worry about it is great. In the morning before work I can be getting ready and simply ask Ivee what time it is, what the temperature is (inside), set a timer, etc. So it has a lot more alternative uses than a simple alarm clock. Plus with the voice activation you can put it anywhere and adjust her settings so you don't have to be right in front of the clock or visibly see it and she can tell you information. The manual says "Tap the LCD screen" to activate. Please note that it's NOT a tap (like on your iPhone touch screen), but instead, it's a PRESS DOWN on top of the LCD screen. Just remember, the LCD screen is a big BUTTON (and NOT a touch screen) so don't think that it will activate ivee when you tap it!

Sorry - not a good product. By description it sounded great, but it didn't work very well. In my opinion it wasn't a "keeper".
