This is a nice, compact clock for travel. But the "global atomic clock" aspect, that is supposed to be radio controlled is not accompanied by any instructions that make sense. There is a long set of confusing instructions. After 5 emails back and forth to the company asking them to tell me how the product worked, more specifically, how does the clock set itself, what do I need to do, they never answered. I'm not sure anyone knows how this product works, especially since it works differently in different countries. I still have no idea how to use the product. It is way too complicated. The company refused to refund my money or take the clock back. Beware: this company does not allow you to return the merchandise! If you buy this you are stuck with it!

Don't lose the instruction book. You may need a magnifying glass to read the extremely small print, but you will need it to set up and use this clock. Once you do, it works fine, although it did take overnight to set the correct time zone. The clock is easy to read, but a couple of indicators, namely the am/pm indicator and the alarm symbol are also very small. I haven't taken any trips, so I don't know how it works while traveling.

I just got this travel alarm clock after looking at many others. It took a few hours to sync with the radio signal, but this is consistent with other atomic clocks in our house. It begins searching for the signal immediately after inserting the battery.

I found the instructions clear and easy to follow, but I was so excited to play with this clock, that I put the instructions down and have had no problem figuring it out on my own. Holding the Mode button for 2 seconds lets you set everything, from the alarm, to the time zone. You can force the clock to try and sync this way as well - after setting the time zone, press the mode once button again and it will start searching for the signal.

The description of the crescendo alarm worried me at first, because, being a musician, I interpreted this literally - that it would get louder and louder - just what my family doesn't need! The volume of the alarm seems just about perfect to me, and consistent with other...Read more
