Duracell Batteries / 4 AA - size batteries

This is a very good price for long lasting batteries. I've never had a problem with these and the alkalines last a very long time. I've never seen these leak as compared to other batteries that I've used.

For a long time I have purchased Duracell Batteries in various sizes.
Over the last year I have been experiencing a severe and disturbing number of battery failures due to acid leaking from the batteries. I have had to replace the batteries prematurely and spent valuable time trying to clean the contacts of several items that I have had them in. Today was the icing on the cake! I had a very valuable Dakota Alert Driveway Motion Detector with the wire corroded off due to another of the problematic Duracell AA Batteries. This is the second or third time I have contacted them to report the battery problems. They took all the information from me regarding the unit and advised I would need to send it in for review. And if it was the battery that was at fault that damaged the unit they would replace it. I advised it only needed repaired and I would send it to Dakota Alert. They advised they did not do that. I have used Duracell AA batteries a lot and in my opinion, they last pretty well with most electronic devices. However, their are some electronics that the batteries do not last well in. Such electronic devices would be CD and cassette players.
