Chass Home and Away Travel Alarm with Pouch Clock 80202

There a lot to like about the Chass 80202 travel alarm clock. It's small - check the dimensions listed - but feels solid thanks to the quality metal case. The cover rotates away from the front and forms a stand. It doesn't protect the back of the clock when traveling, but the control wheels are deeply recessed and there's no danger of them being moved unless you mean to move them. There are button wheels to set the time and alarm time, and a slider switch to turn the alarm on and off. The smaller clock is set by a pull-out knob on the bottom edge of the case. There are separate batteries for each clock.

It looks great sitting on my night table and if I didn't need to tell the time it would get five stars, no question. Unfortunately, the designer chose silver hands on a silver face in a silver case.
