CARS Mater Alarm Clock Radio

My daughters (5 and 7) receieved this alarm clock for Christmas. It is easy for them to turn off in the morning. The display is nice and bright. They love to push the demo button which goes through the 5 different Mater sayings. My only complaint is that it would be hard for a little one to set by themselves, since the buttons are a bit hard to push and they are too far apart for little hands. But sometimes you don't want your kids to be able to set their alarm for 3am! Compared to the other Cars alarm clocks on the market, I'd say this one is the best.

year old grandson to encourage him to get up on his own for school. Only time will
tell if my idea works

I ordered this for my 5-year-old nephew, who loves the Cars movies. When it arrived, I immediately thought, "He's going to like this!" It was so cute. I wanted to see how it worked, but I didn't want to mess up the packaging, so I just wrapped it and sent it to my brother to give him for Christmas. After Christmas, my brother called so my nephew could thank me for it. He said, "Thank you for my Mater." Then he stopped talking, and I thought he'd put the phone down. My brother got on the phone and said, "He's kissing the phone." He said my nephew figured out how to work the clock radio right away and had listened to all the things Mater said. For me this product was aces. That's the first time my nephew has ever sent me kisses over the phone :).
