I am frankly tired of most of the technological pieces though. I got this for being old fashion, and no matter what, it will run. The power can go out or a freaking e.m.p. could go off right next to my house, and yet this will still run. It runs a bit fast though. You still get the general idea what the time is. I imagine that the majority of cheaper mechanical clocks wont be accurate to the minute. Just when you wind it, reset the time about 3 minutes back and you're back to good shape. It makes a louder clicking noise, which also I like. I guess I got it and like it for its nostalgia. Also, the alarm is more than enough to wake me up. If you want a good old fashion clock, this wont disappoint. I wonder and hope for how long it will last. Oh, and the reason why I gave it a 4 is because it runs a bit fast. 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful: By Click Chick (West Texas) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) Then it had the audacity to die on me with two weeks. As the saying goes, at least it has the correct time two times a day now that it is dead. When it was alive, it never had the correct time. 2 of 3 people found the following review helpful: By Woyzeck "Woyzeck" (Baltimore MD USA) - See all my reviews This review is from: Bulova Travel White Dial Alarm Clock #B8127 (Kitchen) This isn't a bad clock. It didn't keep great time for me, so I bought the Sternreiter alarm clock after this one. For $10 or $15 more the Sternreiter is a better deal. |
