This may seem like a lot to pay for a little plastic clock, but it's a very good little plastic clock. The "titanium" color fits in pretty well with brushed nickel fixtures in bathroom. Comes in other colors as well.

This clock is not quiet. Tic-toc sound is loud as any otherclock. So the "ultra-quiet" is false advertising.
These are regular plastic clocks and the titanium/gun metal only refer to the colors. I think the clock is overpriced on this basis.

I bought this alarm clock when I was looking for a simple clock that would light up when needed and without making an annoying beep. This one being battery operated, it's also perfect for waking up on time even after a power outage, which happens a lot in tornado alley. My husband loved it so much he started stealing it from me on a regular basis, and so I ordered a new one. Unfortunately, our alarm clocks only match to a point. The new one has a louder tic-tac, and doesn't light up as readily (the first one just has to be moved with your fingertip. This one has to be picked up and put down two or three times). Had I bought just one, I would have given this item five stars. But it seems they are not all created equal. Still, the lesser version is a very decent alarm clock and fully deserves four stars.
