Product Review

Bai's innovative Pick-me-up alarm clock has a built-in light bulb that lights up and cut to snooze when picked up or tilted, which makes it very convenient to set the alarm as well as knowing what time it is when the alarm goes off - no more searching for the snooze button when you are half-awake! Fitted with a compact and quality German UTS quartz movement that is the quietest in the World! Even its ONE button design on the back for setting the alarm time is intentional because it won't be confused with the rarely used time-setting button, which is hidden inside the battery compartment. It also features a bright niteglow dial for an easy read in almost any lighting conditions. An attractive and fully functional alarm clock that is quiet and easy-to-use.

I had been looking for a small, non-electric clock for some time. This clock meets all my expectations. It is small, has a clear face with good contrast and lights up by tilting or lifting to be easily read in the dark. It has a gentle alarm sound which I like. It is available in a variety of nice colors.

The lesser quality does not match the higher price. If I saw this clock in a store, I would expect the price to be around $10-12. There is a large piece of something rattling around in the clock. I suppose I could get a tiny screwdriver and check it out, but the clock is working, so I'm leaving it alone. The light that comes on when you pick it up is like a mini-beam originating from about the numeral two. Not the best for viewing in the dark--you have to study it for a couple of seconds. I liked my Timex with the push-button light-up dial much better, but alas, it died after ten years. Will put this to use, but without much enthusiasm.
