My wife and I finally found the alarm clock we were looking for. The Bai Pick-Me-Up is just perfect for us. No extraneous features. No mode switches or toggles. Nothing multiple on it. Just an alarm clock, a simple to use clock. Slightly bigger than a travel clock, the colby cheese shaped Bai clock comes in a variety of colors. We chose the pale orange and love it! Literally, there are only three "movable" parts for user operation: [1] the battery compartment door; [2] the set-knob [pull out or push in to set time or alarm]; and [3] the alarm on/off "button" [in the diagram, the little wedge standing up on the back side of the clock]. Oh, yes; it also has a night-light capability. This clock goes well with a variety of furnishings. Based on the purchase of this clock, we will probably investigate other Bai clocks as well. I recommend this clock.

Like the look and colour of the clock, but the alarm is not accurate, rings about 10 minutes after the time set. Have same clock in another colour, from different vendor on Amazon, same problem. Can also hear the sweep of the minute hand. Am shopping now for a boring looking, but accurate alarm clock.

I purchased two of these clocks for the alarm function and their design. The clocks look great, but I would strongly advise testing them before you throw away the packaging. One clock ran fine and the alarm seemed to beep at the right time. On the second clock, the alarm went off *half an hour* after the time for which it was set. I sent that one back to Amazon, who quickly sent a replacement. The replacement was a little better, but the alarm on that one is five minutes off (to the late side). I had ordered another kind of Bai clock and it too had time-keeping problems, and thus was sent back. If you have time to play the multiple return game, then you might want to purchase a Bai clock and find one that works well. If you don't have time or the inclination to send items back when they don't work, then I would not recommend these clocks. It's too bad their manufacturer is not more reliable because the designs are great.
