The projection is not at all distracting, and it is legible during the daytime. The crescendo alarm is nice. 4 stars because the button responses can be laggy. 4 of 4 people found the following review helpful: By Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Oregon Scientific RM368PA Atomic Slim Projection Clock (Electronics) I have been using an older Oregon Scientific model for years, and have loved it. I wanted to give this as a gift, and had been disappointed by imitators before, so I tested it. I was really pleased with the sleek construction. A few of the buttons are very small, for the sake of a clean look, but I thought that was OK. The magnetic stand is very cool. What eventually caused me to return it is that the numbers, when projected onto my ceiling, were too small to read without my glasses. My older model projected numbers 8-9 inches tall, and this ones were 4-5 inches. There also wasn't a focus adjustment, though it didn't seem to need it.
All in all a nice clock, if your eyesight is good. 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful: By Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Oregon Scientific RM368PA Atomic Slim Projection Clock (Electronics) I bought this for my elderly mother. Alarm was not loud enough to wake her since she is slightly hard of hearing. The digital display on the ceiling was disappointing. It ended costing me about $20 dollars in shipping to and from for nothing!!
