Inaccurate,

The thermometer is easy to read in the daytime, can't see it at night, even with a flashlight on it. The instument reads about 9 degrees too warm. Will be sending this one back, and getting something I can see at night.

Have been using this now for about 6 months. For the price, it works great. I had to paint the back of it white though so that I can read the temperature when it's dark outside. Other than that it works good. The battery is starting to die off a little bit, but that is easy to replace.

I bought this thermometer already knowing some of the complaints about it. I chose it for it's size. I put it in a window that got the morning sun and it showed the temperature 20 degrees warmer. You can't read it at night. I plan to move it to a window that doesn't get the direct sun and hope the read out would be more accurate. It works for what I need it for.
