I just bought this a few months ago (not from amazon). The design is less than impressive, for example, simply picking up/placing down the clock on the nightstand would often result in inadvertently turning off the alarm. Because it is an atomic clock and receives a signal, you cannot adjust or set the time. See, it is always perfect so there is no need. Or at least, that is the idea. Then why did my clock suddenly jump ahead about 45 minutes during the night a few nights ago? My alarm went off at 5:30 Westclox Atomic Clock Time. I hit snooze a few times, then got up, which is when I realized that it was actually 4:50. NICE! Since I cannot reset the time (I tried per the instructions to perform the "reset" but that just changed the time to 12:00, both times I tried it). This is a piece of junk and I want a refund, but as I threw away all the packaging I guess I am SOL.
basic, keep away from electronics IF you want it to receive the atomic signal,

Not too much complexity about this unit, basically you put in the batteries and to setup, let it grab the atomic signal to set the time. If it is off, you have to go into setup to set the time zone region and also turn on/off the DST.
The issue with this unit is it has no built in time or calendar, it is totally reliant on the atomic signal. Example, when we all moved forward on DST, the clock did not until I moved it to a window to get the atomic signal. Also, on 4-13, it stuck on that date until I moved it to get the atomic signal.
It is very weak on the atomic signal. If you have any kind of wireless device around, it will block the signal to the clock. You can hit the wave/down button on back to force it to start searching for the signal.
I have the 70026 model. The 70026A does away with the tenth of degree reading and only reads in whole degree increments. Also the date format on mine is 5/2 whereas the newer units are 5-2.
